Refund Policy

1. Nothing is sold

The FixUI extension is provided free of charge, with every feature available to everyone. We do not sell licences, subscriptions, upgrades, or in-app purchases. No feature is gated behind payment, and none ever will be as a condition of the current release.

2. Voluntary contributions are gifts

If you choose to send a contribution through Buy Me a Coffee, it is a voluntary gift in support of the project. It is not a purchase. It does not buy you a licence, a feature, priority support, a service-level commitment, influence over the roadmap, or any other entitlement. Nothing is unlocked, because there is nothing locked.

3. Because they are gifts, they are non-refundable by default

As no goods or services are exchanged, contributions are treated as non-refundable. That said, we are a small project and we would rather you not feel badly about a mistake:

• Accidental or duplicate contributions — if you contributed by mistake, contributed twice, or entered the wrong amount, email karankartikeya2023@gmail.com within 14 days with the date and amount, and we will request a refund on your behalf in good faith.
• Unauthorised contributions — if a contribution was made from your payment method without your authorisation, contact us and also raise it directly with Buy Me a Coffee and your card issuer.

4. Refunds are processed by Buy Me a Coffee, not by us

We do not process payments, and we never see or store your card details. All contributions are handled by Buy Me a Coffee and its payment processor. Any refund must therefore be issued through them, subject to their own terms, timelines, and limits — we can request one on your behalf, but we cannot guarantee or unilaterally execute it. Refunds, where granted, are returned to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days to appear.

5. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer-protection law of your country of residence.

6. If the project stops being maintained

Contributions support work already done and are not a pre-payment for future development. If development slows or stops, past contributions are not refundable on that basis. The extension will continue to work locally in your browser for as long as your browser supports it, since it depends on no server of ours.

7. Chargebacks

Please email us before initiating a chargeback. A direct request is faster for you and avoids fees that would otherwise come out of the project.
